{"id":3036,"date":"2021-06-04T15:45:10","date_gmt":"2021-06-04T13:45:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdm-guliver.hr\/?p=3036"},"modified":"2022-12-17T04:30:34","modified_gmt":"2022-12-17T03:30:34","slug":"baska-walking-tours-12-6-19-6-i-26-6-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pdm-guliver.bitmedix.eu\/en\/baska-walking-tours-12-6-19-6-i-26-6-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Ba\u0161ka Walking Tours  12.6., 19.6. i 26.6.2021."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Get to know the history of Ba\u0161ka through a guided walk!<\/p>\n<p>Ba\u0161ka is a combination of unique values; in addition to beautiful nature, stunning views and a long tradition of beach tourism, it hides an indelible historical and cultural significance &#8211; it is the cradle of the Glagolitic alphabet, the first Croatian alphabet and the invaluable cultural stamp of our history!<\/p>\n<p>In the desire to preserve this uniqueness, the Ba\u0161ka Glagolitic Trail was created, a trail consisting of large and small stone sculptures of Glagolitic letters scattered throughout the Ba\u0161ka Valley.<\/p>\n<p>It was designed by the Sinjali Society, whose artistic director is the academic sculptor Ljubo de Karina. At the foot of the sculptures there are info tiles, and the Glagolitic letter is also written in Braille. Although scattered throughout the valley, the sculptures are carefully placed in space. Their location indicates an area of \u200b\u200bcultural, historical, traditional or natural importance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In order to give our visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the magic of our small town with a great tradition in an interesting, dynamic and interactive way, we organized three free guided walks in June:<br \/>\nBACK TO THE PAST &#8211; BA\u0160\u0106AN PATH OF THE GLAGOLITIC<br \/>\nHISTORICAL WALK &#8211; THROUGH THE GLAGOLITIC TO THE VIEW FROM THE CASTLE<br \/>\nLETTER BY LETTER &#8211; FROM BA\u0160\u0106ANSKA PLO\u010cA TO BA\u0160\u0106ANSKA PLA\u017dA<\/p>\n<p>In just two hours, a local guide will take visitors through the main parts and localities of Ba\u0161ka&#8217;s history, give them the opportunity to meet new people, discover our culture and tradition, learn about important sights and all the details that a traditional vacation would not allow.<\/p>\n<p>The story of Ba\u0161ka and Glagolitic is always attractive and important, and these free guided walks through Ba\u0161ka are designed to give as many of our visitors the opportunity to walk at least part of the Ba\u0161ka Glagolitic Trail and learn about the rich history and culture hidden between the walls of our cobbled streets and unique the nature that surrounds them!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, 12.06. &#8211; departure at 9:00<br \/>\nMeeting place: in front of the Glagolitic letter V, Vela pla\u017ea<br \/>\nBACK TO THE PAST &#8211; BA\u0160\u0106AN PATH OF THE GLAGOLITIC<br \/>\ndeparture in front of the Polo Line tourist agency (Glagolitic letter V), distribution of the Guide to the Ba\u0161ka Glagolitic Trail, beginning of filling in the letters in the booklet<br \/>\nthe tour passes through the picturesque old town of Ba\u0161ka<br \/>\nfind out the story of the Ba\u0161ka aquatorium and the driest island in the Adriatic &#8211; Prvi\u0107<br \/>\nGlagolitic letters will take you to Ba\u0161ka&#8217;s Stara Riva and Glagolitic Omega<br \/>\nreturn by the sea to the Zvonimir Gallery and the exhibition: &#8220;Drop by drop, stone by stone &#8211; life&#8221;<br \/>\n* value more:<br \/>\n&#8211; each participant receives an interactive guide to the Ba\u0161ka Glagolitic Trail in which letters are collected and at the end of the tour receives a diploma from the Sinjali Society<br \/>\n&#8211; a tour of the old town of Ba\u0161ka and its hidden streets<br \/>\n&#8211; through the exhibition, get to know the marbles and the art of folk drywall construction, which is on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, 19.06. &#8211; departure at 9:00<br \/>\nMeeting place: in front of the Glagolitic letter V, Vela pla\u017ea<br \/>\nHISTORICAL WALK &#8211; THROUGH THE GLAGOLITIC TO THE VIEW FROM THE CASTLE<br \/>\ndeparture in front of the Polo Line tourist agency (Glagolitic letter V), distribution of the Guide to the Ba\u0161ka Glagolitic Trail, beginning of filling in the letters in the booklet<br \/>\nwalk to the church of st.
