Combining art and outdoor activities in Baška!

We invite you to join us on a hiking trip to Ljubimer and a special exhibition on the occasion of the presentation of contemporary art intervention “Drops”, by Smiljan Radić and Marcela Corre, which is part of the project Rijeka 2020 – European Capital of Culture, Lungomare Art.

More than 90 kilometers of marked hiking trails in the vicinity of Baška make it an ideal destination for an active vacation. The unique nature and unforgettable views from the surrounding peaks will satisfy even the greatest lovers of mountains.
The beauty of the rugged plateau is additionally adorned with huge stone flowers that our ancestors left us as a legacy as a rare example of folk architecture. Unique, beautiful, but also fragile mrgari inspired the Chilean architect of Croatian roots Smiljan Radić and his partner Marcela Corre to draw attention to their value and the space enriched by a permanent installation in the form of glass drops.
